Abstract
Pseudolymphoma of the lung refers to a reactive lymphoid proliferation characterized
by the formation of a mass lesion. It may be difficult to distinguish from malignant
lymphoma by morphology alone, but the criteria proposed by Saltzstein have been
widely accepted to identify pseudolymphoma; presence of mature lymphocytes, presence
of germinal centers and absence of involvement of hilar lymph nodes. Chest radiography
demonstrates one or more nodular lesions, usually unilateral, but occasionally involving
both lung.
We experienced two cases of pulmonary pseudolymphoma which showed uncommon
radiological findings. One showed pulmonary consolidating infiltrations and the other
showed direct bronchial invasion. We report them with a brief review of literature.
